nah. if there's no ship on the platform, they all de-activate. and if a ship sits there overnight, they shut off as soon as the last being leaves.

they can also be manually overriden before touchdown if the ship captain chooses.

yeah, more or less. there's a huge technology gap between hekshano and contura. SUDDENLY GHOST COMPUTERS ARE TALKING AND SHIPS KEEP FLYING BY AND IM IN SOME KIND OF GIANT GREEN BUBBLE ON A PLATFORM UP ABOVE THIS CITY JESUS CHRIST IM GOING CRAZY
